Every book in this library, broken into ideas, and how those ideas connect.
Every dot is a concept drawn from the books in the library. Its color is the domain it belongs to — the legend at the top right lists them (click one to hide it).
Position means something. Ideas that bridge many domains drift toward the center, so depth-toward-the-middle reads as abstraction; domain-specific ideas settle on the outer ring near their domain’s label. Size is connectedness — bigger dots link to more ideas.
Lines are relationships. Brighter lines are typed, explained connections — supports, contrasts, applies to, inspired by — and each has a card below the map. Faint lines just mean two ideas co-occur in the same books.
Two levels. Themes condenses ~6,600 concepts into ~40 big themes; click a theme to drill into its members. Concepts shows the ideas themselves.
Try it: click any node to see which books explore it and to trace a path to another idea — the chain of relationships connecting them. Use the Shelf picker in the top bar to see the map of a friend’s reading instead.
